FOSS manages component change processes
We have been looking for a workflow management tool to help us with our component change process. It is a complex process with different flows for different types of workflows. OWIS showed to be a workflow management system with great strength and flexibility. Initial design of a process took as little as couple of days, and we were soon shown a complete prototype of an actual working system. During the test runs, we had the need to modify the process couple of times, and every time OWIS proved to be up to the task. Changes were made both to the flow of the process and to the forms and users involved. OWIS system was flexible enough to address all of our requests. User adoption was quick, with the training process being conducted only for handful of people, who in turn had no problem in training others on how to use the system. All in all, we consider OWIS to be a very flexible, easy to use and encompassing system that addresses the needs for management of document based workflow.

Autoparts 24 manages business process accross various IT systems using OWIS
Autoparts24 is an international webshop based in Copenhagen, Denmark, selling recycled auto spare-parts from more than 100 suppliers in 6 countries. As a rapidly growing business we ran into serious problems managing our purchase and delivery process as well as customer communication with standard tools such as Outlook and Spreadsheets. We had also tried standard CRM systems with little success.
We initially automated our delivery process with OWIS by integrating with our ERP system e-conomic, and automating the shipping and tracking process with real-time interface to DHL and UPS. This saves us app. 10 minutes of work for each sales order we manage. Recently we have implemented complaints and returns handling with OWIS, which gives us an excellent overview of both the logistics process as well as full tracking of the communication with our customers and suppliers. Shipment documents and both customer and supplier emails are automatically generated by OWIS, and next steps will be integrating with our website and eBays customer management system.The Orka team has worked enthusiastically on the solution for us and have been quick to understand our challenges and business needs.

Before we've implemented OWIS in our organization, monitoring our operating procedures was a challenging task. Cateringspesialisten plans and executes deliveries using OWIS
Cateringspecialisten A/S is an Oslo based catering company that delivers food for more than 80 customers on a regular basis. We were faced with planning problems for both our recurring and ad hoc orders and invoicing was done manually. OWIS gives us overview and control of our ordering and delivery by providing a flexible planning tool, while providing daily list for production and logistics. The system manages both recurring deliveries and ad-hoc orders - including ad-hoc orders recieved from the Millum e-commerce system. OWIS is tightly integrated with our ERP system, and OWIS creates invoices directly in our ERP system, thus covering the entire process of ordering, delivery and invoicing. I am more than happy to recommend OWIS for process management as it has proven flexible and quick to adapt to our challenges and internal business policies.
